Each Label Jae hat is uniquely adorned with trimmings like upcycled silks, ribbons, leathers, and charms collected from antique shops and markets all over the country. Garments are hand dyed; patches are stitched with pride and raw edges are left to add character. Jae's focus is on a zero-waste initiative. This allows for the reconstruction of all third pieces. She wants to elevate the style and value of circulating textiles/garments and give a second life to pieces that have been tossed.
